Age Concern Bexley: Day Centres

Description

Age Concern Bexley provide Day Centres for people who have been assessed by the local authority as having substantial or critical needs.

The Day Centres provides an activity based day and also provide entertainment and outings. The activities are varied and include health improvement programmes such as keep fit. A hot lunch and refreshments are provided.

We also provide a Day Care Centre for people with enhanced needs - this centre also offers a bathing service and can assist people who need equipment to transfer.

Rates

There is a small charge for day care.

All the Day Centres can accept private clients (please contact Age Concern Bexley to discuss your needs and for further information on our charges for private places).

Other Information

All requests for referrals to the Day Centres must be made to Bexley Council.

To be eligible for a service you must be assessed as having 'substantial' or 'critical' needs.

If you do not meet this criteria, you can apply direct to Age Concern for information regarding a private place.
