Bexley Council has an active partnership with Inspire Community Trust which provides for the assessment of older people and adults with disabilities & sensory impairments. Assessments include advising people about the most appropriate equipment to meet personal needs. The advice provided concentrates on helping a person to achieve a level of independence whilst addressing a safe environment and personal well being.
In deciding on eligibility for the issue of equipment Inspire and the Council will act in accordance with the Council's criteria relative Fair Access to Care.
