

BWA provides safe, temporary accommodation for women and children who have been forced to flee their homes due to domestic abuse. We also provide support and advice to women in the community experiencing domestic abuse or for those being re-housed as a result of domestic abuse we have floating support which offers support, advice, information and assistance to women and children to maximise their independence in the community and manage an independent tenancy. We have various support groups available to build assertiveness and confidence and to address issues relating to domestic abuse. Helpline: 9.30am - 4.30pm Mon-Fri to provide support, information and signposting on issues related to domestic abuse.

We do not charge for our community services although our refuge services have charges attached for rent and personal service charges. Please call for further information.
Due to the set up of our properties we are unable to accept wheelchairs in our accommodation based services. All referrals for refuge accommodation will be assessed for eligibility and are subject to risk assessment.
