Description

Housing and Council Benefit  is to help you pay your rent and council tax. How much you get depends on your income and family circumstances. You usually get this get help if you have more than £16,000 savings (but there is no savings limit for some people receiving Pension Credit).

Even if you cannot get council tax benefit, you may be able to get your bill reduced, for example if you've live alone or your home has been adapted to meet the needs of a disabled person.
