Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) Social Groups

Description

For visually impaired older people KAB runs a range of weekly or fortnightly social groups around the borough. These offer:
a range of activities including
1. trips - to the coast, museums, shopping centres, gardens, etc
2. entertainment and refreshments or meals
3. Specialist groups such as a Bowling Club, Women's Club, Men's Group etc.
Friendship and peer support from other people who have experienced sight loss.
Visits from Sight Impairment workers who demonstrate the latest in equipment and technology for visually impaired people
