

Mind in Bexley offers a wide range of services for those experiencing a whole spectrum of mental health issues
- Advocacy, both in hospital and in the community. We also provide all the IMHA service for Bexley and for the forensic IMHA for Bromley.
-CBT, guided self help CBT covering Step 2 of IAPT, in accordance with NICE guidelines. Also an after therapy support group.
-Day Services a wide range of Educational/Practical courses, Activities - groups from Monday to Saturday also Support Mentoring, Befriending and Volunteering based on the Recovery Model.
Health Trainers providing a range of healthy living advice to individuals via community groups and organisations.
Welfare Rights providing information, support and representation in regard to all welfare rights issues

we do not charge for our services, however as these are commissioned services there are qualifying criteria which vary slightly from service to service but in essence are available for all adults living in Bexley who experience mental health problems.
Mind in Bexley is also involved in a variety of research projects, currently undertaking an Oral History Research Project, which also skill builds the volunteers in this project.
With the exception of CBT, which is by GP referral individuals experiencing mental health problems can self refer into our service.
