What is sheltered/supported housing?
Sheltered housing is specially designed with older people in mind. Each scheme has a communal lounge where you can meet with other tennats and take part in social activities held there. All tenants are welcome to organise activities and outings. Supported housing simply helps people stay independent within a safe environment, with support close at hand.
How do I apply for sheltered housing?
If you are interested and would like to apply then you will need to complete a Bexley Allocation Service Housing Application or Transfer form. Once registered we will contact you to arrange a Sheltered Housing Assessment.
When your date is reached we will nominate you to the Housing Association who will invite you to view a vacant property. Once you accept you will soon be enjoying the security and support that sheltered housing in Bexley offers.
