VIS is an ethnic minority community representative group. VIS organise cultural functions collectively and brings the various communities together to demonstrate separately their culture, art and traditions to each other on the stage. VIS gives information to the local communities about services that are provided by the Council and by the voluntary groups in Bexley. The information that is given to the ethnic minority communities is given in their own respective languages. In addition we organise cultural events, arts and crafts and photographic exhibitions. We organise long weekend breaks for carers, the cared for, elderly and disadvantaged people.
